Welcome to 6 East State, a ministry of Lutheran Church of the Ascension: our front porch!

Our mission: 6 East State is a community outreach center that hosts a broad range of ministry work, including service projects, noon lectures, sacred & secular musical events, and much more!   

Opening in June 2022, the congregation began hosting events that build on our faith, service to others, historic traditions, and music excellence. The activities range from feeding the hungry, offering a midweek contemplative communion service, Jazz Vespers and other music concerts, speaker series and community service projects. All events are free and open to the public.
